Every R-Angle project follows a disciplined 8-step process — from discovery through handover — ensuring the client is informed, involved, and delighted at every stage.
Mr. Khuntia connected with our Cuttack-linked design team via a 45-minute discovery call. We discussed cooking habits, family size, storage requirements, and aesthetics — matte finishes, earthy tones, and a parallel kitchen layout. The ₹2.8 lakh budget was clarified at the very outset with zero surprises.
Our designer visited the Cuttack residence for precise measurements, wall condition checks, plumbing & electrical mapping, and structural feasibility review. Exact dimensions were fed into 3D design software. Photos and notes were shared with the client the same day — no delays, no vague promises.
Two design concepts were presented — one in warm ivory & wood grain, another in muted olive green with white hardware. Mr. Khuntia selected the ivory-toned layout with black quartz countertop. Minor adjustments were incorporated within 24 hours. Design approval was signed off digitally.
The full itemised quotation (₹2,80,000) covered shutters, carcasses, hardware fittings, countertop, backsplash tiles, sink & faucet, installation, and a 2-year service warranty. Payment was structured in three tranches: 40% at signing, 40% at production start, 20% at handover — reducing financial stress.
All modular carcasses were produced in our workshop using marine-grade BWP plywood with high-gloss acrylic shutters in the approved ivory finish. Soft-close hinges, pull-out basket channels, and corner carousel units were sourced from certified hardware brands. A quality inspection photo report was shared mid-production.
Our team revisited the site to prepare kitchen walls (waterproof putty + tiling), shift plumbing points, and install electrical conduits for LED strips and chimney wiring. Civil preparation was completed in a single focused day to minimise household disruption.
Full kitchen installation — lower cabinets, upper loft units, countertop laying, sink fitting, chimney mounting, and tile grouting — completed in three days. LED strip lights, handles, and all hardware accessories were fitted and tested. The space was professionally cleaned, leaving the kitchen 100% move-in ready.
Our designer walked Mr. Khuntia through every element — soft-close mechanisms, acrylic shutter maintenance, warranty claims. A handover kit with product manuals, warranty cards, and the final invoice was provided. The client settled the balance the same day and expressed complete satisfaction.

The final kitchen for Mr. Khuntia featured marine-grade BWP plywood carcasses with high-gloss acrylic ivory shutters — chosen for durability against Odisha's humid climate. A black quartz countertop was selected for scratch resistance and visual contrast. Subway tile backsplash in off-white added a clean, timeless texture to the cooking zone.
Storage was maximised through deep drawer pedestals for cookware, a full-height pull-out pantry, a two-door loft unit running the full upper wall, and corner carousel units eliminating dead angles. The parallel layout was designed around the kitchen work triangle — sink, hob, and refrigerator — reducing unnecessary movement. Every single fitting uses certified soft-close hardware for long-term, low-maintenance performance.
I was honestly apprehensive about spending close to ₹3 lakhs on a kitchen — that is a significant amount. But R-Angle made the entire process transparent from day one.
